    Day 1: Arrival Yangon (15km – 30 minutes)

    Arrive at Yangon International Airport. You are welcomed and transferred to your hotel in city. Yangon is the former capital of Myanmar. Compared with other Asian cities of similar size, it gives the impression of being green and full of trees, above which shimmering pagodas seem to float

    Day 2: Yangon – Heho, Inle Lake (620km – 1 hour and 10 minutes by flight)

    In the morning, you take a guided tour in Yangon to visit Shwedagon Pagoda located in midtown Yangon and 70 year old Scott market which has the largest selection of Burmese handicrafts. (Remarks: This market is closed on every Mondays and gazette holidays).

    Later, you are transferred to Yangon airport then take a flight to Heho to visit Inle Lake. The lake is surrounded by high plateaus and overlooked by the misty Shan mountains. It is also the home of the Intha people, who have adapted to their environment by building entire villages rising on stilts from the shallow waters. They have become famous for their unique one-leg rowing technique. (From Heho airport to Inle Lkae is about 40km. It takes 1 hour to arrive)

    Day 3: Inle Lake (60km – 7 hours)

    After breakfast, we head to the Five-day morning market on the lake which rotates between different villages over five days. These bustling markets around Inle Lake are mostly of interest for the variety of different products offered, mainly grown on the floating gardens and hill villages near the Lake. Additional local colour is added by the presence of the different tribal groups such as the Pa-Oh, who come from far and wide to sell their items.

    Our next stops are Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery and Kaung Daing Village which is situated on the northwest shore of the lake and is famous for the production of rice crackers, tofu snacks and fried beans. We will have chance to experience the traditional handicrafts and silver works on the Lake.

    Day 4: Heho – Bagan (320km – 1 hour by flight)

    Morning sightseeing start with Indein village which is located half way along the western side of the lake and is very interesting due to its 1,094 stupas surrounding the main pagoda, the Indein Pagoda. This pagoda is the original home of the five famous Buddha images of Inle Lake. Some of the stupas were built during the 11th century and feature beautiful stone carvings.

    In the afternoon, you will be brought to the Heho Airport and fly to Bagan. Upon your arrival, transfer to your hotel and free at leisure at Bagan.

    Day 5: Bagan (60km – 7 hours)

    Bagan is Myanmar’s greatest wonder. This deserted ancient city alongside the Irrawaddy River is home to over 2,000 temples and pagodas, covering an area of around 40 square km and by far its largest attraction, are one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Asia and represent the spiritual heritage of ancient Burma. Today we will explore the ancient Bagan with a list of temples and pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda, Htilo-Minlo Temple and Gu-Byauk-Gyi. End of the day we will catch beautiful sunset from one atop of the Bagan’s pagoda.

    Day 6: Bagan – Mandalay (179km – 35 minutes by flight)

    Fly to Mandalay. There are a lot of different things to see that are very interesting in this bustling city and the surrounding ancient cities. We are highlighting most of these underneath Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwe Nandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and Kyauktaw-Gyi Pagoda. Finish the day by a pleasant climb to visit Mandalay Hill which is a must and can be visited all day long, but enjoying the sunset from the pagoda on top of the hill is always a nice ending of a hot day.

    Day 7: Ancient cities (60km – 70km)

    It’s a unique opportunity to attend the daily meal of over thousand monks at the country’s largest monastery before visiting a silk weaving workshop. Then continue your visit to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and visit by horse carriage and the old wooden Bagaya Monastery.

    In the afternoon, we cross the bridge over the Irrawaddy River before arrive in Sagaing. Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hills is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is home to 3,000 Monks and 100 Meditation centre. Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Paya and Umin Thonezeh Pagoda. Take a walk at sunset over the 200 year-old U Bein Bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

    Day 8: Mandalay – Departure (45km – 1 hour)
