  • The Highlights of Brazil

7 nights - 8 Days Rio De Janeiro - Foz Do Iguacu -

Day 1 – Arrival Rio De Janeiro Arrival at Rio De Janeiro Airport and transfer to the hotel. The spectacular beauty of Rio is compelling. This glamorous metropolis is kissed by the sun, scalloped by gorgeous wide beaches, and dotted with dramatic mountains. Yet its history marked it not as a playground but as an important port-for the shipment of gold, gemstones, and coffee- and as a seat of colonial power. Rio's beaches define its culture: vibrant, joyful, beautiful, and every beach has its own flavor: from great lady Copacabana with its volleyball nets and out-door cafés to the seductive Ipanema; from São Conrado with its hang gliders to the hip, expansive Barra da Tijuca. Admiring Rio from the top, Rio de Janeiro is with no doubt the most beautiful city of the world. Meals free Corcovado’s visit. It is well worth a visit. Covering 137 ha, they were founded in 1808 by the king, Dom João VI, as a garden for acclimatizing plants on land in the Real Fazenda. 140 species of birds have been recorded here : flycatchers are very prominent; also tanagers and over 20 different kinds of hummingbirds.
