    DAY 01                  LEAVE EUROPE

     DAY  02                 ARRIVE DELHI                                                                                                                               

    Arrive Delhi by early morning (after midnight) flight ex Europe. Meeting and assistance on arrival at International airport and transfer to hotel.

     Sightseeing of Old Delhi Visit Jama Masjid, - The largest mosque in India Visit Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Drive past Chandi Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city. Also drive past for Red Fort .

     Enjoy bicycle rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Old city.

     Sightseeing of New Delhi Visit 12th century Qutab Minar Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, commenced the construction of the Qutab Minar in 1200 AD, but could only finish the basement.

     Also visit to Sikh Temple and during festival period at Sikh temple visit Modern Hindu temple.

     Visit Humayun's Tomb - The first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, Humayun's Tomb was

    built by the emperor's grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Constructed with red sandstone and

    ornamented marks the beginning of a new tradition of ornate style, which culminated in the Taj Mahal of Agra.

     Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the  president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings,- an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture

     Overnight at hotel.

     DAY  03                 DELHI/ ALSISAR (245 KMS. 6 HRS)                                                                                            

    Morning depart by surface for Alsisar en route visiting Havelis in Mandawa.  On arrival check into hotel.

     Overnight at Hotel.

     DAY  04                 ALSISAR/ GAJNER (220 KMS. 5 HRS)                                                                                        

    After breakfast at the hotel depart by for Gajner en route visiting Bikaner.

     Bikaner the city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated.     

     Later check into hotel in Gajner.  Overnight at Hotel.

     DAY  05                 GAJNER/ JAIPUR ( 353 KMS. 6-7 HRS)                                                                                     

    Breakfast at hotel.

     Morning depart by surface for Jaipur. On arrival check into hotel.  Balance day at leisure.  Overnight at hotel.

     DAY  06                                 IN JAIPUR

     Morning excursion to Amber fort with Elephant/Jeep ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. En route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.

    Afternoon visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses,

    flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers.Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

    Later this afternoon walking tour to local bazaar.

     The clients  drives to the centre of Jaipur city by car and from here onwards they walk thru the bazaars of Jaipur, escorted by their guide.

     The most interesting spots on this walking tour are the flower market, the vegetable market and the wholesale Spice Market.

     The clients can shop for Indian Spices on this tour as they will be well briefed by the guides on the various spices and their usage prior to the start of this tour. This will also be a great experience for the clients to check their bargaining skills while they shop in the local market.

     The clients will have a chance to mix with the local people of Jaipur and this tour will also offer them immense opportunities to take picture of the local live in Jaipur.

     Altogether, a  memorable experience..

     DAY  07                                 JAIPUR/ TEHLA (110 KMS, 2.5 HRS                                                                           

    Breakfast at hotel

     Morning depart by surface for Tehla. On arrival check into Tented Resort.

     Tehla was part of Alwar Principality (Riyasat). It was under control the Maharaja of Alwar. However it is not a massive construction but with all royal and defensive segments. There are high ramparts and big enterance. The palatial building on south corner of the fort is really a Rajasthani style. The magnificent plaster done in the corridor is a good construction quality. A beautiful scenic view from the top of the palace is really a great pleasure.

     Evening enjoy spa and massage at hotel (not included in our package)

     Dinner & Overnight at Tented Resort.

     DAY  08                                 TEHLA/ KARAULI ( 143 KMS, 3 HRS)                                                                       
    Breakfast at hotel

    Morning enjoy walking tour to nearby villages and chance to interact with locals and a Camel Cart Ride.

     Later depart by surface for Karauli. On arrival check into hotel.

     DAY  09                                 KARAULI/ DHOLPUR ( 110 KMS, 3 HRS)                                                                  

    After breakfast visit local bazaar and walk around the Karauli town followed by visit city palace.

     City Palace is located at Karauli City in the state of Rajasthan. This palace was constructed in the 14th century and is famous for its classic paintings, stone carvings, architecture and lattice works. Moreover, the 600 year old artwork is still evident in the Darbaar Hall that also contains old pictures of the palace.

     Later depart by surface for Dholpur. On arrival check into hotel.

     Dholpur is a little heritage town—apart from an ancient complex of temples, a step well and the ruins of

    Shergarh, many little gems from the past are to be found tucked away. Dholpur is fortuitously located at equidistance between Agra and Gwalior on NH3, less than an hour’s drive in either direction. A unique feature of Dholpur is that even though this town is in Rajasthan, it is surrounded by the Chambal ravines of Madhya Pradesh on the south and east while to the north and west it is encircled by Agra.

     Balance day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

    DAY  10                                 DHOLPUR/ AGRA/ DHOLPUR (55 KMS, 1.5 HRS ONE WAY)                            

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning depart by surface for Agra to visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

    Visit the Agra fort, built alongside the Yamuna river stretching almost 2.5 km. The fort’s colossal double

    walls rise 20 m in height and measure 2.5 km in circumference. The fort is surrounded by a moat. The lofty battlements of the Agra fort cast its protective shadow over the far stretching mansions of nobles and princes built along the riverfront. The magnificent towers, bastions and ramparts and majestic gateways symbolized the confidence and power of the third Mughal emperor.

     Later visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 year to complete this ' Love Poem in Marble'. (Taj Mahal remain closed on Friday). Enjoy Tonga ride (Horse pulled cart) during visit to Taj Mahal.

     Return back to Dholpur.  Overnight at hotel.

     DAY  11                                 DHOLPUR/ DELHI (266 KMS, 4 HRS)                                                                         

    Breakfast at hotel.

     Excursion to The Machkund Temple located at a distances of four Kms from main city. This is very ancient and sacred Place, and its important pilgrim destination of all Hindus.

     Also explore the National Chambal Sanctuary which is a 400 km protected stretch of the river. Also enjoy boat ride at River Chambal, drifting past gharials basking on the sandbanks, marsh crocodiles and turtles sunning themselves on the rocks and a wealth of birds fluttering around. (Subject to water level in the lake and also closed from 01 August to 30 September)          

     Later depart by surface for Delhi, upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.  No accommodation envisaged in Delhi on this day.

     DAY  12                                 LEAVE DELHI
