    Destinations

    Malaysia

    9 Nights - 10 Days

From the uncountable number of Indian Muslim, Peranakan restaurants and Chinese food-shops across the country to globally-familiar western fast-food, as most of our guests say no visit here is complete without experiencing Malaysia’s multi-ethnic culinary joys!

What is Poh Piah? It is a Fujian/Chaozhou-style fresh spring roll common in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. Popiah is often eaten in the Fujian province of China (usually in Xiamen) and its neighbouring Chaoshan on the Qingming Festival. In the Teochew (Chaozhou) dialect, popiah is pronounced as "Bo-BEE-a", which means "thin wafer". A popiah "skin" is a soft, thin paper-like crepe or pancake made from wheat flour.
